A few hours ago in Paris was perhaps the most emotional screening as part of this Week’s fashion star, editors of glossy magazines and just fans of the brand gathered in the Grand Palais for the Chanel fashion show to honor the memory of Karl Lagerfeld and admire the latest creations of the legendary designer.

On the podium, of course, came favorite and the designer’s models Cara Delevingne and Kaia Gerber, but their appearance was not a surprise. Where the big surprise for the audience was the participation in demonstration of 44-year-old Penelope Cruz, with which the appearance on the runway was the debut.

The actress has become the latest Muse of Lagerfeld: last summer it became known that she was chosen as the new Ambassador of the brand, and in the fall came the first Chanel campaign with her participation. By the way, the author of the photos was the designer.

To honor Karl Lagerfeld and his final collection for @Chanelofficial, actress and muse @penelopecruzoficial took to the runway to close the show today in Paris. Smiling at each of the guests in the audience as she walked, dressed in a silky-soft snow queen look, she paid her final tributes to the late designer alongside the rest of Paris. #chanel #karllagerfeld #penelopecruz

On the podium, Cruz walked to the music of Philip glass in the final part — she was trusted to close the show. On the podium of Penalosa appeared in a white dress with a skirt reminiscent of snow, and in the hands of an actress was carrying one white rose, which many considered a very symbolic symbol of remembrance.

Like many others who were fortunate enough to work with Lagerfeld, Cruz is very emotionally reacted to the death of the designer.

In my heart there will always be a place for you, my dear Karl. I will never forget your kindness and your generosity and all the fun we had. These moments I will forever keep in memory
